Lands of the Mesozoic is a tableau building game where card play is constantly evolving. In this prehistoric game the dinosaurs are not blood-thirsty monsters, but animals filling vital roles in an ecosystem. Each type is needed to be a balanced ecosystem and sustainable in the long term. Competition between the species and the shifting nature of the environment will trigger extinction events of the animals and habitats that, in turn, will open niches for new species to appear and spread.
